Introduction

Bank of China (Hong Kong) wanted to promote the SME Corporate Internet Banking Services, including the iGTB platform, to help SMEs enhance management efficiency and excel in this fast-paced and ever-changing business world.

Objectives

The primary goals of this video were to:

  • Position BOCHK’s iGTB platform as an effective digital solution that SMEs need
  • Increase awareness of the iGTB platform
  • Attract potential customers to open a corporate banking account at BOCHK to unlock exclusive welcome privileges
  • Elevate its brand image to a contemporary, young and digital bank

Solutions

We have produced a short video for Bank of China (Hong Kong) to promote its SME Corporate Internet Banking Services. To let our customers better understand the benefits of the iGTB platform, we used the first person perspective of an entrepreneur to show how he manages his business at ease with iGTB platform.

As the “brand voice”, the voiceover brings out the paramount importance of speed in the business world right at the beginning of the video, paving the way for the entrepreneur to disclose iGTB platform as the ideal digital solution to enhance management efficiency. After delivering the benefits, the voiceover re-appears in the end to convey the philosophy of Bank of China (Hong Kong) – to walk with SMEs every step of the way.

To manifest an upbeat and energetic city pace, we edited the films along a robust and dynamic direction. With a modern color tone, uplifting background music and cyber motion graphics, we successfully portrayed a young, energetic and contemporary image for the bank.

 

Results

We have obtained over 800,000 views in 5 days subsequent to publishing the video. Furthermore, this video has earned us the Silver Winner title in the MUSE Creative Awards 2022, an international advertising awards program that recognizes creativity and excellence in advertising.
